Dr. H. Robert Bauman

Dvm, University of Prince Edward Island

Dr. Robert Bauman has been with the practice since 2005. He is the proud papa of a Golden retriever, Soleil and 3 kitties, Blackbeard, Sterling, and Erie. They keep him quite busy. His off time interests include mountain biking, scuba diving, camping, and aquaculture. He sets the standard for the highest caliber medical care practiced. He assures that our hospitalized patients receive the best of care which means you will often find him here checking on his patients on his off time.

Dr. Barry Cole was the founder and original owner of Village Animal Hospital. He continues to practice medicine here. He is a loving father to Rhoda, his Jack Russel. His off time interests are golf, golf, and more golf. He also enjoys third world country travel and photography. He is an avid reader. Dr. Cole will soon be a new Grandfather.

Dr. Close joined the Village Animal Hospital family in July of 2011. She has a kind and gentle approach which makes her patients feel comfortable. She enjoys educating clients spending as much time as required to ensure they understand and are therefore able to make informed decisions about their pets care. Dr. Close has a special interest in Behavior,Neurology,Dermatology, and General Medicine. She is the "mom" to Doogan, who is a Pointer cross. Born in Orlando and having graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine - Dr. Close is a true Floridian and a devoted Gator fan. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, golf, and shared time with family and friends.
