DVM, Washington State University
Dr. Mark Freiberg graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Zoology. He attended Washington State University and added a degree in Animal Science and graduated from Washington State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. After briefly practicing he founded the hospital now known as Veterinary Specialty Center in Lynnwood, WA. He later founded Animal Emergency Service of Kirkland, WA.
He became the owner of Rose Hill Animal Hospital in 1992. In 1996, he merged his two practices and was a founder of Pet's Choice, Inc. He attained board certification from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 2001. He has remained as medical director of VCA Rose Hill Animal Hospital after Pet's Choice, Inc. merged with Veterinary Centers of America.
DVM, Washington State University
Amanda Sorensen, DVM, graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 after receiving a degree in Animal Sciences from WSU in 2003. After veterinary school, Amanda traveled to the Cook Islands where she volunteered with the Esther Honey Foundation providing health care to local dogs and cats on the island. She joined the team at VCA Rose Hill in November 2006. Her special interests include endocrine medicine and general surgery. When she's away from the hospital, Amanda is always looking for her next adventure and enjoys surfing, hiking with her dog, and finding new countries to explore. She looks forward to seeing both you and your pets!
DVM, University of Florida
Dr. Laurie Kallenborn graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Animal Science in 2004 and her DVM degree in 2010. After graduation, she practiced feline medicine in Bothell. She is also a volunteer surgeon at the Feral Cat Spay Neuter Project in Lynnwood. She joined the team at VCA Rose Hill Animal Hospital in May 2012. In her free time she enjoys playing softball and spending time with her husband and cat Momo.
