Dvm, Cornell University
Dr. Willhite grew up in upstate New York on a rural dairy farm, the only girl of four children. She graduated from high school in 1991 and then attended the Rochester Institute of Technology. In 1995 she graduated from R.T.I. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biotechnology. During her undergraduate career she received many honors including all four years on Dean’s List, Gamma Sigma Delta Honor Society and the Baldwin Scholarship for excellence in Science. She continued her education at Cornell University studying veterinary medicine and graduated with highest honors (including awards for excellence in small animal internal medicine and large animal surgery) in 1995. Immediately after graduating from Cornell she moved to Atlanta and has been practicing small animal medicine at Vca Pets are People, too ever since. Her personal hobbies are mountain biking, hiking, camping, and motorcycling. Her professional interests include pain management, dermatology, anatomy, nutrition and soft tissue surgery.
Dvm, Auburn University
Dr. Matthews grew up in Enterprise, Alabama and is the youngest of three children. After graduating high school in 2001 as a valedictorian, she attended Enterprise-Ozark Community College and then transferred to Auburn University. There she received her Bachelor of Science degree in zoology. While earning her undergraduate degree she made the Dean's list and was a member of the Golden Key Honor Society, as well as the Tri Beta Science Honor Society. In 2005 Dr. Matthews was accepted into Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine.
Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine and surgery.
After graduating from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr Matthews joined the Vca Pets Are People, Too Roswell family.
Her hobbies include sports, motorcycling and spending time with her family.
She currently resides in Decatur with her spouse and their two chihuahuas, Rex and Jade
Dvm, University of Florida
Dr. Bier is originally from Westbrook CT. She attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree in Animal Science. She then attended the University of Florida for veterinary school. Dr. Bier is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Bier has one cat named Queen Alexandra or Lexy for short. She enjoys working out, horseback riding, reading and playing the flute. She is also a past member of the Maryland Marching Band.
