I always wanted to be a veterinarian, unfortunately reality interfered. After working in hospital laboratories for several years I was determined that I was going to fulfill that dream. In 1996 I graduated from Texas A & M University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Some of my outside interests include; ballroom dancing, crocheting, and reading. My cats prefer when I read so they can treat me as their lounge chair ;).
