Dr Herrman has been the Medical Director at VCA Kirkwood Animal Hospital since 2000. She has been a veterinarian at this hospital since 1985.
Dr. Herrman's outside interests include working out, gardening and adventure traveling.
Dr. DeMarco joined the VCA Kirkwood team in 2008. She has been practicing small animal veterinary medicine in Delaware since her graduation in 2001. She is married with 2 beautiful little girls. Dr. DeMarco enjoys baking, scrap booking and spending time with her family. she also shares her home with a very sassy little Chihuahua named Bendito.read more
Dr. Hartman was born and raised in central Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree in history with minors in leadership and physics from Mary Baldwin College, in Virginia. While there she was also a part of the Virginia Women's Institute for Leadership, which is the only all female cadet core in the nation.
Dr. Hartman is recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, Dr. Hartman is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
While in veterinary school, Dr. Hartman had the opportunity to study various training and techniques throughout the world including exotics in South Africa and medicine in Japan. Dr. Hartman is particularly interested in exotics, surgeries (both soft tissue and orthopedics), as well as emergency care.
While her love for traveling and learning about new cultures will never dwindle, Dr. Hartman is looking forward to settling in to her new life in Newark, DE.
Dr. Roper is a long time resident of Delaware. She graduated from Penn State University with an Animal Bio-Science Major. She earned her DVM at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Roper has been practicing small veterinary medicine in Delaware since she graduated in 2010. Her special interests include dermatology and dentistry.
Dr. Roper has a dog and two cats who always keep her entertained. In her spare time, Dr. Roper enjoys gardening and cooking.
