Dr. Fuhrman is originally from the Lebanon County area. She attended Penn State University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Animal Bioscience. She went on to earn her Veterinary Degree from The Ohio State University. Dr. Fuhrman's special interest is feline medicine.
Dr. Fuhrman joined VCA Detwiler in early 2014 as a part-time Associate Doctor. She is also an Associate Doctor at our sister hospital, VCA Northside in Bethlehem.
In her spare time Dr. Fuhrman enjoys gardening, traveling to keep in contact with close friends and spending time with her family, including her kitties Rupert and Walter.
Dr. Pike is originally from Bucks County, where she grew up and found her love for animals. She recently moved to Lebanon County after getting married. She attended Penn State University where she obtained her Bachelors Degrees in Animal Bioscience and Immunology and Infectious Disease. Dr. Pike found her way to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her degree in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Pike has a special interest in medicine and dental health.
Dr. Pike jointed the VCA Detwiler in March 2017 as an Associate Doctor.
In her spare time Dr. Pike enjoys reading, cooking, running, and spending time with her husband and family.
?I do what I do because these animals are family and need the medical health attention just like any other of the family member. I want to continue to be able to give the health care and assistance to those animals, just like my family and I did with my childhood pet, Lucky.?
