Dr. Brian D. Gray
Dr. Brian D. Gray

Dr. Gray graduated from Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. He started his career working in a mixed practice in the Houston area, and then moved to the Dallas area in 1986. He spent the next several years working in emergency and critical care practices before starting Timber Valley Pet Hospital in 1993.
Dr. Gray is unmatched in his ability to provide genuine compassionate care to his special patients and their owners. He treats each and every pet with kindness and consideration, while delivering the highest quality veterinary care. He strives to inform and involve owners in decision-making while providing services, which can be especially important in medical cases. He utilizes the latest diagnostic and treatment resources and tools available in the field of veterinary medicine to ensure the best possible outcome for each and every pet.
Dr. Gray is directly involved in every step of any pet's appointment. He endeavors to spend time with owners to ensure their understanding and comfort level with all aspects of their pet�s current and future needs. His patience and authentic desire to provide the best in veterinary care is widely recognized by his loyal clientele, many of whom have been bringing their pets to him for 15 or more years. The personal approach to veterinary medicine delivered by Dr. Gray and his entire staff eases clients� concerns and worries during what can be a difficult time, and makes for a better experience for pets and owners alike.

Dr. Jill J. Whitwell
Dr. Jill J. Whitwell

Dr. Jill Whitwell graduated from Texas A&M Veterinary School in 1990. After completing an internship at the West Los Angeles Veterinary Medical Group in Los Angeles, Dr. Whitwell returned to Dallas to start working in private practice. After 3 years, she discovered a passion for veterinary emergency and critical care and joined the team at the North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic. She spent the next 23 years at that practice and has treated many patients from Timber Valley Pet Hospital as emergencies. In September 2016, Dr. Whitwell decided it was time to return to daytime hours and joined Dr. Gray as a full-time associate here at Timber Valley. In addition to critical care, her special interests include soft tissue surgery and ultrasound.

Dr. Whitwell shares her home with her husband Jim and her kids Sammi, Taylor, and Matthew. The current pack of pets include dogs Gator, Cynnamin, and Purp as well as cats Rocket, Freya, Spot, and Midnight.
