I am originally from Las Vegs, NV and moved to Phoenix area after graduating veterinary college in Mayy 2009. I graduated from the Kansas State University College(go Wildcats!) of Veterinary Medicine. I have a dog named Tate who is a very mischievous boxer mix, a Pug named Cash and cat named Finnegan. They add so much joy to my life each day!
While I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, my personal interests lie in internal medicine, surgery and nutrition. I strongly believe that the relationship between you and your pet is special and something to be treasured for a lifetime. My animals are like family to me, and I treat each patient as though they were my own. I look forward to getting to know you and your furry loved ones!

I am originally from the Midwest and spent time growing up in Illinois and Wisconsin prior to moving to Arizona with my family. I attended Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor degree in Agribusiness in 2005. I earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2009, and graduated as a member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society. Following graduation I completed a one year intership at Washington States University in order to further expand my knowlege in areas of emergency, critical care, oncology, internal medicine and surgery.
I share my home with four dogs, Gonzo, and Australian Cattle Dog, Boomer, a Border Collie, Sawyer and Emmett, which are both mixed breeds. I am an avid Cubs fan, I also enjoy hiking, reading and speanding as much time outdoors with my dogs as possible.

Dr. Lauren Griggs
Dr. Lauren Griggs

Dr. Lauren Griggs was born in Louisiana but found herself growing up in many places (military brat). However, she calls AZ home since it is where she has lived most of her life. She obtained her undergraduate degree in 2007 from the University of Arizona (yup, Bear Down!) and graduated from the Cornell University Veterinary College in May 2016. Dr. Griggs has a passion for helping those most vulnerable in our world such as our pets but also those predisposed to disease (children, elderly, etc) and those living in impoverished conditions. Thus much of her background is in infectious disease research, having completed numerous competitive research programs including the Howard Hughes Medical Research Fellows Program. Besides her academic interests in pathology and research, her clinical interests include low stress treatment of patients, soft tissue surgery, preventative care, and dentistry.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, playing basketball, playing board games with friends and family, and exploring new cities and hiking trails. You will also find her leading and teaching music to the praise team at Eden Christian Center, where her and her church family aspire to help those hurt within the church and outside of it. At home, she has a very talkative 12-year-old toy poodle named Alex, a scaredy-cat 6-year-old yorkie-poo named Scooby, and a sneaky 6 year old Shih-tzu/Pom mix named Ghost. Dr. Griggs is excited to meet your fur babies as well and treat them like one of the family!

Dr. Scott Flemming
Dr. Scott Flemming

Dr. Fleming spent most of his life in the southwest, growing up in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He received two B.S. degrees, one in Animal Science and another in Biology from New Mexico State University. After that, Dr. Fleming moved on to Fort Collins, earning his DVM from Colorado State University in 1993. After veterinary school was finished, he returned to New Mexico and spent the next sixteen years in small and mixed animal practice around the western and four corners regions of the state. Over that time, he developed a particular interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Fleming and his wife, Lisa, moved their family to Arizona in 2009. They have a busy, full family with five children, and an assortment of pets who theyve adopted or rescued. Their four-legged kids include three mastiffs (Lola, Max, and Sam), two cats (Roy and Cephus), and a Chinchilla who goes by Chimi. When they do manage to get some spare time, Dr. Fleming and his family like to stay active by working out, going for a hike or a mountain bike ride.
