Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.

Our boarding facility, Sun City Pet Lodge is accredited by the Pet Care Services Association. The Lodge is open Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm

Pollyann Johnson, DVM

Dr. Johnson is a 1999 graduate from Colorado State University. She joined our practice in 2004. She is married with three daughters. They have three dogs, one cat, two desert tortoises, one african leopard tortoise, and numerous saltwater fish.

Shellee Roe, DVM

Dr. Roe Dr Shellee Roe grew up in New Mexico where she attended New Mexico State University. After graduating with a psychology degree, she then attended veterinary school at Colorado State University where she graduated in 2001. She joined Sun City Animal Hospital in 2013. Her special areas of interest are feline medicine and gastroenterology.

Dr. Roe met her husband while in veterinary school. They have one daughter. She also has 2 very spoiled cats. In her free-time, Dr. Roe enjoys reading fiction, gardening, and yoga.

Leah Ashworth, DVM

Dr. Leah Ashworth was born and raised in Buckeye, Arizona. She attended Grand Canyon University for her Bachelor of Science degree and graduated in 2005. She then moved to Colorado to attend Veterinary school. She graduated from Colorado State University in 2010. Dr. Ashworth joined Sun City Animal Hospital in June 2013. She is married and they have one daughter . They also have two dogs and two cats. Dr. Ashworth likes to travel to new places and spend her free time with family.
