I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the University of Illinois. I am also certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture and hold certification in Animal Chiropractic.
I moved to Columbus from central Illinois with Errol, my husband of ten years, and my furry family members. We have two horses, Molly and Melanie, and two terriers, Simon and Sophia. Since childhood, I have been an avid horse rider and I have been competing in the sport of Eventing since a young age.
My veterinary interests include dentistry, general preventative medicine and sports medicine. At Suburban Animal Clinic I strive to effectively combine veterinary sports medicine with the additional modalities of chiropractic, acupuncture, therapeutic laser and massage.

Dr. Marie Jarden grew up around Cleveland and graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Chemical Engineering. She decided to make the career switch to veterinary medicine after owning her first cat, Scratch, while in undergrad. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State University. While in vet school she worked at Suburban Animal Clinic during the summers and on the weekends and is excited to continue her career here.
Dr. Jarden and her husband, Cole, enjoy being outdoors, hiking, and biking. They've been busy taking care of their daughter, Zelda, born in November 2014. Their cat, Hendrix, allows them to live with him and feed him lots of treats.
Her veterinary interests include pain management, internal medicine, and surgery.
