Dr. Mayes was born in New Mexico and attended Texas Tech University where he obtained his degree in animal science. He then went on to Colorado State University where he recieved his degree in veterinary medicine. Dr. Mayes wants to focus on medicine, surgery, preventative healthcare and raising his three kids.
