A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Ingle received both her B.S. and M.S. in Animal Science from North Carolina State University. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Happy to be back in warmer climates, Dr. Ingle worked as an Equine Veterinarian in the Columbia area for four years before transitioning to small animal general practice. She has developed special interest in arthritic pets and itchy dogs. She has pursued additional training in pain management to help her elderly patients be as comfortable as possible. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and South Carolina Veterinary Association.
Dr. Ingle and her family are enjoying living in the Low Country. They enjoy the beaches and many family activities available in this area. Her two cats, Gus and Charlie, are also fine with the move since their favorite couch came with them.
Dr. Kevin McGinn founded Sangaree Animal Hospital's Main Street location in 1985 and has been a General Practitioner at the two hospitals ever since.
Dr. McGinn’s father raised him with a love and respect for animals. During his youth, he learned the importance of caring and nurturing for animals through his family’s own treasured pets. Dr. McGinn is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. His appreciation for animals later led to Dr. McGinn serving as a volunteer at Lenox Animal Hospital in Atlanta.
In 1973, Dr. McGinn registered at Emory University. Shortly after, Dr. McGinn transferred to the University of Georgia where he pursued Animal Science. In 1977 he was accepted into the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. While attending, the university recognized him as the Outstanding Animal Science Student.
He began practicing in 1981 immediately after he earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. His Veterinary interests have expanded to include the areas of dermatology and endocrine diseases. He became a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, South Carolina Association of Veterinarians and the Trident Veterinary Medical Association.
When asked what Dr. McGinn loves most about being a Veterinarian, his response was the special human/animal bond he feels when working with animals. He also enjoys the satisfaction of helping people treasure their pets. Dr. McGinn has three Chihuahuas, a Shih Tzu and two cats of his own. He enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking and cooking in his spare time.
