The Palmyra Animal Hospital, located at 1215 Canandaigua Road in Palmyra, provides medical, dental, and surgical care for your beloved pets. We feel that compassion and understanding are of utmost importance in the care and treatment of pets under our care.
We are a member of Monroe Veterinary Associates, an organization comprised of multiple full-service veterinary hospitals, a 24-hour emergency and specialty facility, consisting of board certified veterinary specialists in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, radiology, ophthalmology, and critical care, a housecall service, and an extensive veterinary medical laboratory. Acupuncture, herbal medicine and physical rehabilitation are also available at some of our locations.

Dr. Rebecca Nealey has cared for pets as a general practitioner at Palmyra Animal Hospital since May 2009. A native of Penfield, Dr. Nealey began her career in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant at Penfield Veterinary Hospital when she was in high school.
Dr. Nealey completed her undergraduate education at the Pennsylvania State University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Biology in 1991. She went on to attend the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. That year, she received the Petsmart "Human Animal Bond" award. Following veterinary school, she completed a large animal internship at the University of Illinois. Internal medicine and preventive care are among her many professional interests.
Horseback riding, hiking and camping are just some of Dr. Nealey's many hobbies. She shares her home with five horses and two cats, Masala and Little One.
