Pacific Park Animal Hospital of Laguna Niguel, CA is a full service veterinary hospital for dogs and cats. Dr. Dion Steenis and Dr. Katie Bennett and the qualified nursing and reception staff are committed to provide quality veterinary medical care throughout the life of your pet. Our veterinary services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete veterinary medical and pet surgical care as necessary during your pet's lifetime.
We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. Our goal is to practice the highest quality veterinary medicine and small animal surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire pet health care team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet and pet owner.
At Pacific Park Animal Hospital we offer complete veterinary health care services to ensure that your pet stays happy and healthy, including physical examinations, individual vaccine assessments, both routine x-ray and dental x-ray capabilities, ultrasound, orthopedic surgery, pet dental treatment, in-house laboratory, pet boarding, bathing and small animal diagnostic procedures.
Dr. Dion Steenis was born and raised in San Diego, California. From a very young age she wanted to be a Veterinarian so she could care for small animals. She earned her bachelor�s degree in Biology from San Diego State University before attending Veterinary school at Western University of Health Sciences. She graduated with Phi Zeta honors. Her focus included internal medicine, neurology and dermatology. Through out her career Dr. Steenis has been able to work with multiple veterinary specialists in Southern California learning the newest diagnostics and therapies.
In her free time Dr. Steenis enjoys, horseback riding, snowboarding, reading and spending time with her family. She and her husband are expecting their first child and enjoy taking care of their two cats, Dave and Frankie and their three dogs, a special needs Chihuahua, Mouse, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Madison, and a Chihuahua Josie.
Dr. Katie Bennett is a Southern California native who completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in 2013. She was initiated into the Phi Zeta veterinary honor society in 2013.
Dr. Bennett has worked in the veterinary field for more than 10 years. She has always enjoyed small animal medicine because of the strong bond she is able to build with her patients and their loving families. Her veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. She also enjoys pocket pets and exotic animal medicine.
In her free time Dr. Bennett enjoys yoga, painting, the sand and surf, and spending time with her Golden Retriever, Koa and cat, Faith.
