Mt. Diablo Veterinary Medical Center in Lafayette, CA, is a full service companion animal hospital that is committed to providing quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our professional staff includes 2 general practitioners, a surgeon, and radiologist. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. Our mission statement is that our hospital will be a place where clients and their pets are treated with compassion and courtesy. We strive to practice the best medicine possible and care for our patients as if they were our own.

Dr. Robert Hagler graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. He has practiced small animal medicine in the Lamorinda area for the past 28 years. Dr. Hagler is a Walnut Creek native and enjoys practicing veterinary medicine close to his hometown. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, California Veterinary Medical Association, Contra Costa County Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
In his free time, Dr. Hagler enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors, and coaching sports in the local community
Dr. Fan grew up in the Bay Area and received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley in 2000 (Go Bears!). She graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, Dr. Fan returned to the Bay Area to work in small animal general medicine. Her special interests include dermatology, oncology, and internal medicine. Dr. Fan currently resides in Dublin with her dog Allie, and two cats, Emma and Benny. When she is not working, Dr. Fan enjoys baking, reading, hiking with her dog, and watching Food Network.read more
Dr. Tutko graduated from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 (Go Cougs!). She is originally from the Seattle area where her family still resides. After graduation Dr. Tutko completed a small animal internship in Los Angeles followed by a brief time practicing in a mixed animal practice in rural Idaho. She has been practicing in the east bay for the last 6 years. Her professional interests include cardiology, surgery and dentistry.
Dr. Tutko spends most of her free time with her husband (a veterinarian as well) chasing their two young girls around! She also enjoys cooking, sporting events (especially Washington State University football) and running races (she�s completed 2 half marathons!).
