Mountain View Animal Clinic has been serving Vail and its surrounding communities since 1998. Our clinic offers a combination of traditional, alternative, and herbal therapies to provide the best tailored care possible for your pets. We have seen wonderful results with some alternative therapies, and our caring staff is happy to build testing protocols and treatment plans to work around you and your pet's needs. We not only focus on the total health of our patients, but their quality of life. Prevention is best; but not always possible. We are here for you and your four-legged family member.

Dr. Amy Hoffman
Dr. Amy Hoffman

Dr. Amy Hoffman has been loving and treating animals since childhood. She grew up in a dairy farming community in Western New York and completed her undergraduate studies in Buffalo New York. She has worked as a veterinary assistant, receptionist, and a technician for over 10 years before finally going into veterinary school at Ross University and graduated with Honors after completion of her clinical education at Cornell University. Dr. Hoffman has worked all over the United States and has decided to call Vail her home. Dr. Hoffman has 14 yrs of experience in small and exotic animal emergency and urgent care. She is married, has 4 children, and a large animal family consisting of 3 horses, 3 goats, 3 English Bull Terriers, 7 cats, too many chickens to count!, guinea pigs, gerbils, parakeets and cockatiels! When not at work she enjoys riding her horses and cooking vegetarian meals. Please come say Hello, she looks forward to developing relationships with all of you and your pets. Dr. Vivana Zumpan

Dr. Viviana Zumpano was born and raised here in Tucson, AZ as a young girl she grew up with many different pets which quickly revealed her calling to become a veterinarian. As a young girl she grew up with many different pets which quickly revealed her calling to become a veterinarian. Along side her love of animals was her love for sports. At the age of seven she began playing soccer and had no idea that it would be the key to continuing her college education. She received soccer scholarships to Pima Community College, and Grand Canyon University. After finishing her undergraduate degree she spent two years working as a veterinary assistant in the fast paced paced world of emergency. Dr. Zumpano then pursued her veterinarian degree at Ross University, and finisher her clinical year at Ohio State University. after graduating May of 2016 she was thrilled to come back home to be with her husband, and family which includes three malti-poo's. Most of all she is enjoying her brand new career here at Mountain View. Dr. Viv looks forward to meeting and learning alongside pet owners, but teaching the them the importance of pet health.
