I’m a 2003 graduate of the University of Minnesota. My areas of interest are small animal medicine and surgery. I also enjoy small ruminant medicine and surgery.

I’m married to my college sweetheart Jody, and we currently reside with our two dogs, Boomer the Chihuahua, and Wally a Boston terrier mix. In the summertime, our Sonoran Desert tortoise comes out of hiding. I enjoy trail running, fly fishing, and escaping the summer heat into the White Mountains.

I’m an Arizona native. I grew up in north Phoenix and began my career in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant with AZPetVet Arrowhead Ranch in 2011, and ultimately as a veterinarian with AZPetVet Madison in 2018. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology at Colorado State University in 2014, followed by vet school at Midwestern University in Glendale to earn my DVM in 2018. A large portion of my studies was focused on shelter medicine, providing spaying and neutering for rescue pets, as well as internal medicine. My special interests include pain management, anesthesiology, hospice care, and feline medicine.

I live here in Central Phoenix with my husband, Shea, who works as a firefighter for the town of Gilbert, and our two dogs, Holly (border collie mix) and Osha (pitbull mix). We stay busy kayaking on the Salt River, rock climbing, and backpacking. I love to unwind by practicing pilates and reading on the patio during our great Arizona winters!

An Arizona native, I obtained my Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona in 2002 (Go Cats!), followed by my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2007. While I loved my time spent in Colorado, I was excited to move home to the warm, sunny desert! I joined AZPetVet after graduation, working at one of our sister hospitals before coming to Madison Animal Hospital. I am devoted to bringing health and wellness to your furry family with the help of this famous team of doctors and staff.
In my off time I am a mommy to two very precocious little girls, as well as their ‘older sisters’ Mini the lab mix and Pidge the kitty cat. Our family loves to spend time together in the kitchen cooking, playing outdoors and reading lots of books.

I grew up in Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania and studied animal science at Penn State University. After graduating from Penn State in 2016, I went on to attend veterinary school and graduated in 2020 from Ohio State University. During undergrad, I worked as a Client Service Specialist at Animal Medical Center and helped at a non-profit TNR program, the Hundred Cat Foundation. My professional interests include preventative medicine, dermatology, feline medicine, and behavior. I moved to Arizona with my boyfriend Jimmy and our domestic short-haired diva of a cat, Luna. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, going on walks, reading, and trying out new restaurants!
