Betsy Henly, D.V.M

Dr. Betsy Henly, a general practitioner with Leesburg Veterinary Hospital since January 2012, grew up with a special understanding of the human/animal bond. "Our dogs were treated so well growing up that my best friend said she wanted to come back in her next life as one of our dogs," Dr. Henly said. "I've always understood the human/animal bond." She also raised two rabbits that had "homes all over the neighborhood."

Dr. Henly grew up in Orinda, California and attended the University of Kentucky at Lexington. She earned her undergraduate degree in International Geography in 1995 and was awarded two research awards from the Geography Department. After graduation, Dr. Henly worked in the stock market in San Francisco, but realized that career was not for her.
