Catherine Gately-Dean is a 1991 graduate of Virginia-Maryland School of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the practice in 1997 and enjoys working with ferrets, rabbits and other small animals. Her spare time is spent with her husband and their three children, actively participating in school events and their sports programs. Their family includes their Labradoodle, “Kanga” and cat “Popper”. Dr. Cate and her husband live in Mayo, Maryland and enjoy supporting their local community.

Carrie Otis, DVM is a 2009 graduate of the Virginia-Maryland School of Veterinary Medicine. Before that, she explored her interest in animals and the environment while in undergraduate school by studying abroad in Costa Rica and the Peruvian Amazon. She later attended Cornell University where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. Degree in Animal Science. She has since completed a one year surgical and medical internship at a private practice with one of her professors from veterinary school. Dr. Carrie spends her spare time with her husband and their Sheltie, “Mr. Z.” She enjoys horseback riding, playing tennis, and hiking.

Dan Doherty, DVM is a 1988 graduate of the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine. He resides in the Annapolis area where he graduated from Annapolis High School in 1968. In addition to his veterinary career, he is an attorney and has served as an Assistant States Attorney for Anne Arundel County and in private law practice. He has been married to his wife Kris for 33 years and they have two children. Dr. Doherty has been active as a lacrosse player, coach and referee. He enjoys gardening and spending time with his Labradoodle, “Bailey”.
