Heather Roberts
Heather Roberts

Dr. Heather Roberts is a native Northwest Houstonian. She received her Bachelor's degree in 1998 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2002, both from Texas A&M University. She has worked primarily in northwest Houston and College Station, Texas, as a small animal practitioner. Her primary interests are surgery, dermatology, and cardiology.

Dr. Roberts has a young adult son. She spends her free time cooking and doing craftwork, including knitting, crocheting and her newfound love, quilting. Her outdoors interests include sailing, camping, and fishing. She is also an avid reader.

She has several rescue dogs and cats that she loves and cuddles at home. Her favorite aspect of being a veterinarian is experiencing the human-animal bond and finding new ways to teach families about responsible pet ownership. Her goal is to help people and their pets have many happy, healthy years together by providing pet owners with the education and tools they need to make informed decisions about their pet's health.

Betty Halbrook
Betty Halbrook

Dr. Betty Halbrook is a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Her undergraduate degree is in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is originally from the Dallas area, and has worked in the Houston and Katy areas since graduation. She and Dr. Roberts bought Cypress Falls Animal Hospital in December of 2009. Her interests includes cultivating close personal relationships with clients and pets, internal medicine, dermatology and radiology. Her outside interests include cooking, gardening and fishing. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her three wonderful nieces in Tyler.

She has several rescue pups. One of her previous rescues, Nutmeg was rescued out of a paper bag in a dumpster in College Station. She was found with a broken leg and taken to the Small Animal Clinic at Texas A & M where she fell into the hands of Cypress Falls Animal Hospital. After Dr. Roberts repaired her leg she became a permanent family member (i.e. foster failure). She, along with Telge (a kitten found on 290 at Telge with a broken leg and brought in by one of Cypress Falls Animal Hospital's angels) are the inspiration for Cypress Falls Animal Hospital's Nutmeg/Telge Good Samaritan Fund which helps abandoned and injured animals receive medical care and find new and loving homes.
