House Call Veterinary Care!
We travel to your home or farm to provide veterinary care to all animals, from hamsters to horses.
Dr. Joe D'Abbraccio and associates provide house calls in Sullivan, Orange, Ulster, and parts of Dutchess and Delaware Counties. Some of the towns that we travel to include Middletown, Goshen, Chester, Florida, Pine Bush, Rock Hill, Monticello, Forestburgh, Fallsburg, and others.
Why stress your pet with the travel to the veterinary hospital when our doctors and staff come to you. We perform routine visits in the comfort of your home.
Services include hospitalizations, x-rays, ultrasounds, surgery, dental care, orthopedic surgery, cardiology consultations, and more.
Dr. Joseph D’Abbraccio grew up in Monticello, New York and is a graduate of Monticello High School (Class of 2006). Following graduation Dr. Joe attended the State University of New York at Delhi where he earned a degree in Veterinary Science Technology. Dr. Joe attended veterinary school at St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, located in the Cayman Islands. While attending St. Matthew’s University, Dr. Joe was very active in a number of student organizations, particularly the Emergency and Critical Care Society. Given his strong interest and achievements Dr. Joe was awarded the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society Clinical Proficiency Award, an international achievement. Due to his strong involvement level and high ranked veterinary studies Dr. Joe was awarded the Dean’s Award from St. Matthew’s University. Following his pre-clinical training Dr. Joe finished his final year of veterinary school at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.
Dr. Joe’s interests include emergency and critical care as well as cardiovascular disease. Dr. Joe is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the New York State Veterinary Medical Association. Given Dr. Joe’s wide interests he is happy to care for dogs, cats, exotics, as well as some livestock.
Dr. Joe also holds an adjunct professor position at Suny Ulster, teaching veterinary technician students. However, when he is not at the hospital or teaching Dr. Joe enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Joe has a variety of pets, including five dogs (Ryder, Vincenzo, Raleigh, Gismo, and Jacomo) three cats (Tom, Momma cat, Cora), and a cockatiel.
Dr. Daniela Carbone knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at the age of five years old. She graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor in Science degree in 2005 and then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Nutrition. She graduated from St. Matthew's University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and completed clinical training at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in 2011.
Following graduation, she stayed in the midwest and practiced small animal medicine in Danville, Illinois for two years. She has worked as both an associate and relief veterinarian in Dutchess, Putnam, Orange and Westchester counties over the past three years, allowing her to become a part of a wide area of the Hudson Valley Community.
Dr. Carbones interests include nutrition and alternative therapies such as nutraceuticals, homeopathy, and herbal medicine for dogs and cats.
Her goal is to provide our clients and their pets with high-quality medical and surgical care. Dr. Carbone stays current with new knowledge and techniques through continuing education seminars and training sessions. These training sessions allow her to practice new veterinary procedures, products, and preventive health care measures available to your pet.
When not at work, Dr. Carbone enjoys spending time with her family and her toy poodle, Annabelle that she rescued in 2008.
