Bragg, Cape Fear Animal Hospital is a well established, full service small animal hospital offering a full range of medical and surgical services to include general wellness exams, dentistry, spays and neuters, pain management, an on-site pharmacy and basic grooming (baths, nail trims and nail dremels). We also provide a full scale health program for your pet that includes annual preventative care exams, vaccinations and parasite control. We carry a full line of pet food products for optimal pet nutrition and have an excellent boarding facility to care for your pet when you need to get away.

Dr. Lisa A. Jonas

Dr. Jonas graduated from Auburn University in 1983 and became Managing Veterinarian at Cape Fear in 2008. She proudly claims the label of "Army Brat" and has been part of the Fayetteville-Fort Bragg community for over 40 years. Her major professional interest include orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. Outside the hospital she enjoys the beach, hiking in the mountains and her pets, which include two dogs and multiple rescued cats.

Dr Renee Wheeler

Dr. Wheeler, an Alabama native, is a 2008 graduate of the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked with both small animals and horses and completed an internship at Neuse River Animal Hospital in 2009. She has been a member of the Cape Fear Animal Hospital team since August, 2009. She enjoys horseback riding, playing soccer and Auburn Football. She and her husband have three dogs, two cats and a horse.

Dr Meredith Garringer

Dr Garringer graduated from the University of Georgia in 2006. Her professional interests include geriatric medicine, ophthalmology and feline medicine. Dr. Garringer enjoys camping, horseback riding and fishing with her husband. Her furry children include two cats and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Dr. Sarah Morgan

Dr. Morgan is a three time graduate from North Carolina State University with many years spent working all over the world with horses and livestock prior to beginning her veterinary career with small animals. She is especially interested in nutrition, behavior and geriatric medicine. She shares her free time with her fianc´┐Że as well as her dogs, Khandi and Jozy, and her cats, Dexter Morgan and Nicki Meownaj.
