Dr. Athron graduated from The Royal Veterinary College (University of London) in 2007. During his 6 years in London he also completed an intercalated BSc (Hons) degree in Philosophy, from King's London College.
Dr. Athron grew up in Mexico and England and is fluent in both Spanish and English. He and his wife (also a veterinarian) moved to Seattle in the summer of 2009 after working in San Diego County for 2 years.
Dr. Athron has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and diagnostic imaging.
In his spare time, Dr. Athron enjoys cycling, soccer, film and travel.
Dr. O'Brien graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 though has been working in the veterinary field for 13 years. Dr. O'Brien was born and raised in the Woodinville/greater Eastside area, which is where most of her family still resides.
Dr. O'Brien has been an avid equestrian since a young age and has ridden in many disciplines including dressage, hunter trials, western gaming, trails, three day eventing and was on the Washington State University polo team while at university. She currently has 5 ponies that are trained in cart driving with hopes to perform in C D E soon. In her free time, Dr. O'Brien enjoys spending time with her boyfriend on their farm where they raise sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys and rabbits, and dabble in wine and mead making.
