Janet Landa
Janet Landa

Dr. Landa has been with Banfield Pet Hospital since December 2014. She was born and raised in Southern California. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from UC Davis. She then continued her education at Mississippi State University for her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated with honors and received the Dean's Pegasus Award for excellence in leadership and professionalism. When not working, Dr. Landa loves spending time with her little family including her significant other, two human sons, two furry sons (Diego, a dog and Koi, a cat), and two ringneck doves. She also enjoys reading, running, and mountain biking.

Lauren Smith
Lauren Smith

Dr. Smith grew up here in Thousand Oaks, California. She received her undergraduate degree from UC Santa Cruz in Neuroscience and Behavior and earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis. As an associate with Banfield Pet Hospital since 2010, Dr. Smith enjoys partnering with families in care of their companions from kitten and puppyhood all the way through their mature years. She lives here in Thousand Oaks with her family and dogs - Phoebe and Rocco. Outside of the hospital she enjoys spending time with family, mountain biking, hiking, and vegetable gardening.
