My name is Dr. Elizabeth Riede, and I am an associate veterinarian at the Spring Valley Banfield location. I moved to Las Vegas at the end of 2012 and joined Banfield in early 2013. I was born in Cleveland, OH and raised between there and Albany, NY. I was the child who would always rescue all the baby birds and bunnies that I found, and knew I wanted to be a veterinarian since before I could pronounce the word. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kent State University in Ohio, and earned my veterinary degree with distinction from Massey University in New Zealand in 2012. I spent much of my time during vet school doing extra work in neurology having done externships in Australia, Canada, Scotland, and England. Before starting with Banfield, I worked with Heaven Can Wait doing cat spays and neuters. My passions in veterinary science are preventive care and dentistry.read more
