Dr. Smith, Chief of Staff, received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine form Iowa State University in 2011, and her Bachelors of Science from Cal State Long Beach. She has been at the Signal Hill location for 4 years. A native to Southern California, Dr. Smith grew up in Ventura County and now resides in the city she loves, Long Beach. She is married with two furry children- two Chihuahuas which together possess 7 legs. Dr. Smith enjoys preventive care medicine, strengthening the human animal bond, and teaching/ developing new graduates. Her hobbies include running, kayaking, and gardening.read more
Dr. Huynh is a native from Denver, Colorado. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biological Science from the California State University, Fullerton in 2009. Having completed her clinical year at Oregon State University, she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 from the Ross University. She is owned by three cats; Lexington, Elsa and Nismo. Her hobbies include paintballing, hiking, arts and crafts, and cars.read more
Dr. Pyrdek is a recent transplant to Southern California after graduating from Ross Univerisity School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2015. She enjoys the variety of pets and clients she works with every day. She worked with wildlife and exotic pets for several years prior to vet school, and continues to have a passion for working with exotics and pocket pets, including lizzards, turtles, snakes, guinnea pigs, hamsters, rats.
In her spare time, you can find her traveling around to new corners of the world, hiking mountains, or engrossed in a good book.
