Dakotah Sherman, LVT Shift Lead

Hello my name is Dakotah Sherman. I have been in the veterinary field since 2005. I worked at Laursen Veterinary Service for 10 years. While there I became interested in becoming a License Veterinary Technician and the opportunity to continue building a better relationship with my furry clients. I graduated Baker college of Flint in May of 2010. In a change of life, I started a new opportunity in March of 2016 with Banfield Pet Hospital. Here, I have continued my love as an LVT and have been promoted to Shift Lead.
When I'm not at work, I am at home with my husband, 4 daughters and 3 sons. I have pets from scales to livestock that fill in the rest of my life. I enjoy the things life has to offer like photography, gardening, and spending as much time as possible enjoying mother nature.

Hello! My name is Brittani, and I was born and raised here in Saginaw, Michigan, where I currently reside with my husband and our 8 fur-kids; 2 dachshunds and 6 cats. I have a soft spot for feral cats, and work with local rescues & veterinarians to do TNR (trap-neuter-return) and adoptions when possible. I enjoy being a Customer Service Coordinator here at Banfield because it allows me to advocate for affordable preventive care for each pet we see. My favorite part would have to be greeting all of our new and returning pets though, of course!

Miranda, VA
Miranda, VA

Miranda graduated from Michigan State University in 2013 with a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology. After graduation she had the amazing opportunity to be a marine mammal intern at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. This was one of her most favorite opportunities she has been able to participated in. During that time she was able to work closely with the trainers and the newly started dog program, learning first hand many of the functional skill for positive reinforcement training. Miranda has a lot of interest in animal behavior and is still looking forward to expanding her knowledge in that area of expertise. She also had the opportunity to work in a research laboratory with the small animals before starting her career at Banfield. Miranda has worked for Banfield as a Veterinary Assistant since 2016 and is enrolled in the Penn Foster program to obtain her license as a technician. Miranda lives with 2 dogs and 2 cats at home, and likes to ride and jump equines in her spare time. She is hoping to get her retriever mix therapy certified, and is looking forward to what the future has yet to bring.

Dr. Victoria Benson
Dr. Benson has been part of the veterinary field since 2003; first working as a licensed veterinary technician, and now, after graduating from Lincoln Memorial University in May 2018, as a veterinarian. She has a passion for leadership and obtained her Masters in Business Administration in 2008. She plans to become certified in hospice and palliative care. Dr. Benson has 3 dogs (Chomper and Littlefoot, Dachshund mix brothers, and Maverick, a Rottweiler) and 1 cat (Jazz, a tortie). She loves spending time with her fur kids, as well as her niece and nephew. Dr. Benson has been known to get a little crazy cheering on the Michigan State Spartans, especially during March Madness (Go Green!). She looks forward to her journey as a veterinarian and seeing what life has in store for her!
