Dr. Theodore Gonzalez
Dr. Theodore Gonzalez

Growing up Dr Gonzalez was involved with breeding and Showing Rough Collies and German Shepherd Dogs. Working for a veterinarian as a teen he set his sights on Vet School. Went to Kansas State University for undergraduate study prior to joining the class of 1974 at Cornell Veterinary College. Upon graduation he went into private practice at the Westbury Animal Hospital. In 1980 he went into solo practice at the Baldwin Animal Hospital. In 1988.he joined Dr Harvey Rhein at the Dix Hills Animal Hospital.PC
After the arrival of their grandson in the winter of 2009, Dr and Mrs Gonzalez moved to Austin in the Winter of 2009. After settling in, Dr Gonzalez joined Banfield in Feb 2010.

Dr Gonzalez spent 8 years breeding and showing Persian cats with his wife Anna; at which time he maintained membership with, and consulted to many cattary members of the Long Island Cat Club. Then in 1998 his life once again went to the "Dogs"; breeding Standard and Miniature Poodles. He has been a past member of the New York Academy of Science, Alpha Psi Fraternaty, and maintains membership in the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Cornell Feline Health Center.

Among his special interses are:

1) Professionally: Feline Medicine, Internal Medicine, Genetic Diseases, and has been compiling data over the past 30 years on Canine and Feline Breed predispositions to Disease.

2) Non- professionally: On the Human side: adult nutrition & supplementation & Diabetes (type II). Computering (software), photography and photo editing, woodworking, gardening and foremost, together with his wife Anna, enjoying activities with the dogs.

Dr. Larry Bredthauer

Dr. Bredthauer is a Graduate of Texas A&M University and has been in practice for 37 years. He worked in San Marcos, TX for 23 years running his own practice prior to opening the Round Rock Banfield Hospital 14 yrs ago. His special interest is in Dentistry and dental medicine. He has help many pets live longer thourgh his interest in dental care.

Dr. Bredthauser has two grown daughters, one grandson, wife, and dog named Baby.
