Dr. Sarah Dougherty grew up in Grants Pass where she was active in 4-H, F.F.A. and showing her Arabian horses. She obtained her BS in Biology from Tabor College in Kansas, where she was also a 4 year varsity letter winner in soccer. After graduating from Kansas State University in 2007, the native Oregonian returned to the Portland area to start practice. Following two years in equine practice, Dr. Dougherty joined Banfield in 2009.
Dr. Dougherty is committed to preventive care and her special interests include arthritis management, lameness, physical therapy, and orthopedics. She is a member of the Oregon Veterinary Medical Associate and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
She currently has Bailey (9 yr old Chocolate Lab), Cork (5 yr old cat), and Chico (1.5 yr old Chinchilla). In her free time, Dr. Dougherty likes to play soccer and spend time with her family. She is an avid Oregon State Beavers fan and enjoys taking in a Portland Timbers game at Jeld-Wen Field.
Dr. Hillebrand-Wustenberg graduated from Oregon State University with her Bachelors of Science in 2007 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She has been with Banfield since 2013. Prior to this she did mixed veterinary work in both Ventura, California and Newberg, Oregon. Currently she works part time as an Ambulatory Equine Veterinary.
She was born and raised in Germany and is fluent in both German and Spanish. She is married to a large animal veterinarian and is mom to three rescue dogs and three horses.
