Dr. Nicole Carolla was born and raised in Farmington, PA. From an early age, she knew that her dream was to become a veterinarian. She started working in the veterinary field as a kennel assistant in 7th grade and then began working as an assistant in high school. Dr. Carolla graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies where she enjoyed being able to be at the beach. She finished her clinical year at Purdue University.
Upon graduation in 2010, Dr. Carolla moved back to Pittsburgh and accepted a position with Banfield Pet Hospital. She has worked in multiple Banfield hospitals throughout the Pittsburgh market and became a Chief of Staff in 2014. She has two dogs: Owen, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Brinley, a mixed breed from St. Kitts as well as a cat, Maverick. She enjoys hiking, cooking, baking, reading and traveling.
