Dr. Sara Goldstein has always been passionate about being a veterinarian, high quality veterinary care, and the human-animal bond from even a young age. She graduated and recieved her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then went on to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Prior to starting with Banfield Pet Hospital she did complete a large animal equine internship at Chino Valley Equine Hospital. She enjoys constantly learning and growing as a person and a veterinarian. This includes topics within veterinary medicine such as fear free handling, leadership training, and communication. She also stays connected to the veterinary community by being apart of the AVMA and local veterinary chapters.
In her free time she loves quality time with friends and family, being outdoors, hiking, going to the movies, photography, horseback riding, and volunteering at local shelters. She also have 2 black kitties and an orange tabby that are her world!
Dr. Angelica Otiepka completed her bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Rutgers - The State University of New Jersey in 2013. She received her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2017. Her clinical interests include small animal theriogenology and soft tissue surgery. Over the years, she had a Dalmatian and a cat, multiple hamsters, rabbits, birds, and fish. She currently only has one fur-baby, Samarah, a long-haired, brown cat. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading, being outdoors, running and yoga.read more
Dr. Annazette Sloley was born in Jamaica and completed her bachelor's degree in Animal Science and Marine Biology in 2005 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. In addition to working as a veterinary assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital she has also worked at 2 local animal hospitals - Rutherford Animal Hospital and Hackensack Animal Hospital. She completed her veterinary degree in 2012 at St. Georges University in Grenada which included a clinical year at Cornell University.read more
Dr. Tamara Herron is originally from Jersey City, NJ. She completed her bachelor's degree at Rutgers - The State University of New Jersey in 2008. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012. She has a clinical interest in soft tissue surgery. Dr. Herron lives in Jersey City, NJ with her adorably, sweet cat - Garfield, and cherishes the memory of her dog - Speedy. She enjoys working with children, singing, dancing, and reading in her spare time.read more
Dr. Monica Endy is originally from Ringwood, NJ. She completed her bachelors degree at Pennsylvania State University in 2012. She went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University in St. Kitts then finished out her clinical year at Tufts University in 2017. Dr. Monica Endy resides back in her home town of Ringwood, NJ with her two dogs Harley, a bulldog, and Hoss, a pitbull. Dr. Endy has an interest in small animal surgery and anything bulldog! When not at the hospital Dr. Endy enjoys dancing and going out with friends and family.
Dr. Meghan Shapiro is originally from Princeton NJ, but has moved north to Bergen County. Dr. Shapiro graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Elon University. After Elon, she moved to Philadelphia PA where she received her veterinary degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Shapiro loves both surgery and medicine, and even treats some exotics too! She and her fianc� have two furry, four-legged children, Louis and Ellie, who are wonderful giant fluffy rescue mutts.read more
Kelly was born and grew up in central New Jersey. She has always had a love of animals since she was very young. She has worked in multiple areas of pet care including grooming, retail, as well as animal control. She first started as a veterinary assistant in a private hospital years ago. From there she then came to Banfield Pet Hospital in 2012. Her career took off at that point and she climbed the ranks from veterinary assistant, shift lead, and practice manager. She was very much interested in the managerial aspect of veterinary medicine and running a hospital. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with 4 year old daughter/family, listening to music, hiking, camping, off roading, fishing-really anything outdoors. She also loves taking care of and playing with her new puppy Darwin and her handsome kitty Buddy.read more
