Dr. Veronica Contreras

Dr. Contreras attended University of California, Santa Cruz and UC Riverside for her B.S. degree in biology. She then attended UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. During her time at UC Davis, she was a leader in various clubs whose goals were in line with her passions and was also one of the lead veterinary students who created the nation's first One Health Center. After graduating, she returned home to the Riverside area and began working for Banfield that same year. Dr. Contreras is fluent in Spanish and enjoys practicing the language as much as possible. Her passions outside of the veterinary field include spending time with her friends and family, training her cat, and following her favorite baseball team.
