Maria Demello
Maria Demello

Dr. Demello graduated from university of California San Diego with a BS in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience. She then chose Veterinary medicine as her profession and went on to study at Ross University. Dr. Demello graduated in 2009 and has worked at several Banfield locations since then. Dr. Demello has a special interest in preventing overpopulation through educating the public about the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. Dr. Demello is extremely dedicated to preventative care and wellness and enjoys following her patients progress thoroughout their lives. We are excited that Dr. Demello has chosen our North Oceanside facility as her home hospital to share her wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Dawn Daniel Love

Our Chief of Staff, Dr. Love graduated from Western University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Along with being an accomplished veterinarian Dr. Love holds an Masters of Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and an MsBA from Boston University. Dr. Love received her BA from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Dr. Love has served our country in the marine corps for 22 years and currently holds the title of Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserves. Dr. Love left the large animal community to practice companion animal medicine and is a dedicated advocate for preventative care and wellness.

Cedric Koch

Dr Koch graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia with his BS in Animal Science and Microbiology in 2011. Dr Koch then went on to graduate with his degree in Veterinary Medicine from Melbourne University in 2016. While at university, Dr Koch worked as an animal ambulance driver and had a special interest in cattle. Dr Koch has been with Banfield North Oceanside since 2017 where he focuses on quality preventive care to companion animals.
