Dr Kohlhepp grew up in New Haven county where she was surrounded by dogs growing up. This led to her dream of becoming a small animal Veterinarian . Her first "job" was in a Veterinary Hospital/Boarding Kennel, where she worked her way up from kennel worker to technician. Finally she moved to Philadelphia to gain residency for vet school. During her tenure she also worked at a cat exclusive practice which developed a great understanding and love of cats.
A graduate from the University of Pennsylvania Vet school 09 Dr Kohlhepp is a highly skilled surgeon and has a strong interest in cardiology and feline medicine.
Currently, she lives in Stamford with her two cats, Seamus and Ethel, and Pug puppy, Olive. She is an active volunteer at a spay neuter clinic called Feral Care. She loves to travel and spend time with friends and family.
