Emily Nelson D.V.M

Dr. Emily Nelson was raised in Petoskey, MI where she grew up with cats, dogs, horses and donkeys. She attended Alma College for undergraduate studies and completed her veterinary degree at Iowa State University in 2012. She and her husband currently live in Northville with their three cats Sherman, Sally, and Grant. Dr. Nelson really enjoys working with animals but also working together with owners to prevent disease and keep pets healthier longer.

Robert Schwarb D.V.M

Dr. Schwarb received his Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Michigan and continued on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from St. George�s University. He met his wife, Chelsea, in veterinary school. Together they have a son name Owen, a Goldendoodle named Penelope, and a cat named Loki. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, movies, video games, playing sports, and watching/cheering for University of Michigan sports. Go Blue!

Jessica is a veterinary assistant with Banfield and has been in the field for a little over a year. She loves animals and has 4 dogs and a cat at home, though she would have many more dogs if she could! She completed her degree in Zoology at Northern Michigan University in 2013 and has been working with animals ever since. She loves getting to know you and your pets, and looks forward to working with you for all of your pets needs.

Carolyn has been part of the Banfield team since April of 2016. Over the years she has had dogs. cats, hamsters, horses, fish, birds, rats, and a turtle. She lives with her dog and cat, and says this is the best occupation she's ever had.

Jess is a graduate of Sanford-Brown College with a Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been working in the animal care industry for 10+ years. Jess currently lives in Westland with her husband, son and their two dogs and three cats. Jess would like to continue her education and learn about zoo keeping. She loves meeting with the clients and helping them care for their pets.

Emily has been part of Banfield's team since September of 2016. Emily is going to school to become a vet tech. Emily loves animals, she has two cats herself named Bane and Howie. Growing up Emily always lived with pets. "My love for pets started when I was little and I always knew I wanted to work with animals ". Emily is very excited to be apart of banfield's team and can't wait to become a vet tech and be able to work with all cats and dogs.
