Dr. Irving Minott, DVM
Dr. Irving Minott, DVM

Dr. Minott started his education at the University of Maine, where he received a BS in Animal and Veterinary Science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine. He continued his didactic study at Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine on St. Kitts Island in the Caribbean. His clinical and surgical training was completed through Auburn University in Alabama. He has been a veterinarian at Banfield since graduating in 2012. His main interest revolves around the surgical aspect of veterinary medicine, including dentistry and soft tissue procedures. He has one dog, “Nessie,” who was rescued during his time in the Caribbean, and five cats, Moo, Bella, Bob, Cassanova, and Buttons.

Dr. Laura Crawley, DVM

Dr. Crawley graduated from Saint George's University in 2010. She received her undergraduate degrees in biology and microbiology from NC State University in 2005. She has been with Banfield for five years, and has a Scottish terrier named Gus and two cats, Victoria and Fester. She loves traveling and living at the beach.

Dr. Brian Lang, MVB

Dr. Lang joined the North Haven team after previously working at our Plainville branch for two years. He completed a B.S. degree in animal science at Clemson University in 2012 and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University College Dublin in Ireland in 2016. He has a strong interest in veterinary dentistry and has completed extra training at the Animal Dental Training center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Lang has an Australian shepherd named Sawyer, a border collie mix named Layla, and a Maine coon named Luna. In his free time, he enjoys going to the beach with his wife and two dogs, birding, wildlife photography, and painting. Bring your pet in to meet Dr. Lang and the team today

Dr. Derek Marotta, DVM
Dr. Derek Marotta, DVM

Dr. Marotta started his educational journey here at home with the University of Connecticut receiving a B.S. degree in animal science with a minor in mathematics. He continued his veterinary studies at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine on the Virginia Tech campus. During his clinical year at veterinary school, he completed rotations all over the country including California, Colorado, North Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia. As a recent 2018 graduate, he still maintains his passion for all sciences and research. Dr. Marotta’s favorite animals are cats and dogs with a small menagerie at home including a German Shepherd, Rex, and seven cats, Tarzan, Mew, Footns, Beepers, Kitten, Falcon, and Smokey. When he is not caring for his pets, Dr. Marotta enjoys nature and water activities especially kayaking.
