Dr Ashlie Uvaerkaller graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 where she received an award for clinical competency. She graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1990 in Animal Science and Biology majors, and working as a student in fish habitat studies, cattle nutrition studies, and horse management studies.
Dr. Uvaerkaller recently got married, changing her name from Dr. Hancock. She loves spending time with her husband, and her 2 daughters. She also enjoys horseback riding, playing with her Great Dane and German Shepherd, Haflinger pony and her son, and 2 long-haired cats.
Dr Uvaerkaller has been at Banfield the Pet Hospital of Norfolk since its grand opening in August 2007 and she feels great pride in its accomplishment. She has enjoyed being the Chief of Staff at Banfield and welcomes her clients by treating their pets like family!
