Chung-Hsuan Yu
Chung-Hsuan Yu

Dr. Chung-Hsuan Yu graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Dr. Yu has been with Banfield since 2013 but transferred to our West Nashville team in October of 2016. He has a golden retriever named Cabela and a white domestic-short hair cat named Tofu. In his spare time, Dr. Yu enjoys cycling, working out, hiking, camping, and reading. He has special interests in surgery and cardiology.

Charlene Rivera-Barrera

Dr. Charlene Rivera was born and raised in Puerto Rico. In 2010, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico. Following college, she attended Tuskegee University in Alabama, where she completed her veterinary medicine degree in 2014. After graduation, Dr. Rivera went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center of Westbury, NY. She has an interest in avian and exotic animal medicine. Outside of work, she likes to travel as much as she can, do yoga, cook and spend time with her family and pets.
