I moved to Colorado Springs from north Mississippi in the fall and have been enjoying it since. At home I have two dogs, Louis the terrier and Hiro the Corgi; they have both adapted from the heat of the south to loving the mountain snow. Out of the clinic I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, seeing concerts and spending time at home relaxing. My favorite part of veterinary medicine is meeting clients and being able to help them by caring for their furry family members.

Dr. Okerberg moved to Colorado from Huntsville, AL after graduating Summa Cum Laude from veterinary school in 2018. Dr. Okerberg has a special interest in clinical pathology and internal medicine. He is passionate about preventive care and early diagnosis of disease in his patients.

When out of the hospital Dr. Okerberg enjoys reading, watching baseball, cheering on his alma mater (Auburn University) in college football, and fishing. Most of all he enjoys spending as much time as possible with his girlfriend and their four dogs.

Audrey Washburn
Audrey Washburn

Dr. Audrey Washburn was born in North Carolina and has lived much of her life in Virginia. She received a BS in Natural Resources at Cornell University and a MS in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the University of Florida. Thus began a career in wildlife biology where she climbed very tall skinny trees to put radio tags on young hawks, then flew around South America trying to find their radio signals after they migrated. Birds were great, but she found she wanted to spend more time with people, so she decided to become a vet. To turn her veterinary training into an adventure she went to Massey University Vet School in New Zealand. She just moved to beautiful Colorado with her husband Bryan and she is very excited to hike in the mountains with her dogs Max and Cocoa. The bird Chewy and cat Floki are very jealous since they can't go outside.
