I'm very excited to be serving the pets of Mansfield! I am a 1982 graduate of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. I practiced small animal medicine as the owner of Broad Street Animal Clinic in Mansfield for 18 years until it was destroyed by a tornado in May 2001. I then went to a large, multi-doctor hospital in Arlington for 5 years and worked as a locum veterinarian and in the pharmaceutical industry most recently. I joined Banfield Pet Hospital in May 2012 and am so proud to be back home in Mansfield.
I love all aspects of private practice, particularly parasitology and internal medicine. I especially enjoy building relationships with pet parents. I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association, serve on the Board of Directors of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and am secretary of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association. I am also a member of the American Association of Corporate and Public Practice Veterinarians as well as the American Heartworm Society.
I have lived in Mansfield for 29 years and raised my family here. We have 2 sons and 2 daughters and are expecting our first grandbaby in June 2012. I have been active in the Mansfield community as a board member of the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce, the Women's Division of the Chamber of Commerce and the Mansfield Economic Developement Board as well as numerous PTAs through the years. Our four-legged children consist of two elderly rat terriers and a large mixed breed. They all were rescued from shelters.
Please come meet us at the Mansfield Banfield. We have a wonderful team and look forward to meeting you!
