Dr Sims earned a bachelor's degree in animal science in 2000 and graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2004. In June 2004, she became a member of the Banfield team and relocated to Georgia with her husband and their two cats. Her special interests are dentistry, nutrition, internal medicine, and feline medicine. Dr Sims was promoted to Chief of Staff in 2009 and often mentors new Banfield doctors in the north Georgia area. Her goal is to provide excellent patient care and client satisfaction through a caring and compassionate team. Even when not at work, she is a health and fitness enthusiast that enjoys Zumba, Pilates, and weight training.read more
Dr. Laye attended undergraduate at Auburn University and majored in Animal Science. She later pursued her veterinary education at Tuskegee University and graduated with her DVM in 2009. Dr. Laye has been practicing with Banfield for 5 years and has a special interest in small animal preventive medicine. She is married with 3 beautiful children, 2 dogs and one cat. When not at work she likes to tend to her hobby farm with fainting goats and chickens and do various outdoor activities including gardening and camping.
Dr. Mareddy graduated from College of Veterinary Medicine of Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University,India and majored in Animal Nutrition in 1995. She pursued her career as a Nutrition Specialist with the State Government until she moved to the USA in 2004. Dr. Mareddy completed her license requirements through the Georgia Veterinary Board and has been practicing with Banfield for 9 months. She has a special interest in companion animal medicine. She is married with one son, and has a dog named Bolt who she rescued from the Petsmart parking lot. She enjoys outdoor activities, travel, and yard work, and she volunteers at the religious activities at the temple.
Dr. Youngblood earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at Georgia Southern. She then earned her DVM at the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Her interests include surgeries of all kinds, internal medicine, including endocrinology, and preventative care. She has practiced at various clinics in the North Georgia area for over twenty years. She has been employed here at the Mall of Georgia Banfield for since 2011. She currently has three dogs, and one cat. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and cross stitching.read more
