Rachel Ross, DVM

A Las Vegas native, Dr. Rachel Ross earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Nevada in Reno. After spending several years as a Veterinary Technician in Las Vegas, Dr. Ross went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University in 2010. Dr. Ross has a passion and commitment to partnering with our clients to ensure they and their furry family members receive the best care. She also believes that the best way to treat diseases is to help prevent them from occuring in the first place. Preventive health care is key to having pets live love healthy, happy lives. Dr. Ross treats every patient as if they were her own. Dr. Ross would say her beloved cat Charlotte runs the household.

Kimberly Horton, DVM

Dr. Kimberly Horton has been an Associate Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital for 3 years. She is a graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. During undergraduate years, she studied at Fort Valley State University in the areas of Biology and Business. Dr. Horton works with small animals and exotics. She loves everything about veterinary medicine from preventive care to surgery to emergency medicine. She has a very mischieveous kitty named Zuri and in her spare time, she loves to spend time with family and friends.

Jamesia Showers, DVM

Dr. Jamesia R. Showers is a 2010 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Being a veterinarian was her life long dream since she was 3 years old. She always cared for animals and never grew out of it. She sincerely enjoy my career choice and feels that this is her calling. She have 2 dogs: Chyna, a 5 year old diva pit bull, and Brown, a 1.5 year old Chihuahua that was abandoned in PetSmart at 2 weeks old. She loves her human baby and her fur babies. She treats all clients pets as she would want her babies to be treated. She believes in preventative care because she wants to keep our patients around as long as possible and some illnesses can be treated if found early and/or prevented. She especially enjoys in dermatolgy cases, internal medicine, and soft tissue/ophtho surgery.
