Dr. Gregory Shukhman
Dr. Gregory Shukhman

Hello, I am Dr. Gregory Shukhman.
I am a first generation Russian, American. My family emigrated from Kiev, Ukraine in 1979. I have been in the animal field for over 10 years. I graduated veterinary school from the only veterinary school in Southern California, Western University of Health Sciences, and College of Veterinary Medicine. There, I learned to incorporate everyday life into medical knowledge and positive medical outcomes through preventive care. I feel strongly that practicing preventive care will keep you out of most uncomfortable pet ailment situations. I attend medical conferences yearly to keep up to date with the latest technical advancements in veterinary medicine in order to better serve my patients and their parents. On my time off I enjoy playing as many sports as I can get involved in. Anything from water polo, ice hockey, volleyball and basketball. I play ice hockey about once or twice weekly and am part of a league. I truly believe in a well balanced lifestyle and practice my medicine in the same fashion, involving the pet family as part of the solution to good quality preventive care. I look forward to serving your family!

Dr. May Namkung

Hello....I am Dr. May Namkung (Dr.May).
I graduated from Konkuk University with Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2005, then finished 1 year Small Animal Surgery Internship in Veterinary teaching hospital of Konkuk University, Seoul, Korea. When I was in 5th grade, my chip monk(Dah-ram) had big injury(yes, chip monk, not a squirrel, not a dog), I tried to find help for my little friend, however, it was not easy for a fifth grader to find exotic animal expert. It was very painful moment for the chip monk and the little girl (me), so I decided to be a veterinarian. Now, I am a licenced veterinarian in South Korea and America, have happy three senior orange tabbies and a young persian cat. On off days, I love to watch documentary films and Animal Planet. I am looking forward to help your furry friends and you with my awesome team members. Welcome to Banfield Pet Hospital of LaCienega.
p.s. My chip monk lived 6 more years with me...until he had grey hair
