Dr. A. Jack Bozarth
Dr. A. Jack Bozarth

Dr Jack Bozarth joined Banfield Pet Hospital of Joplin in 2001. Dr Bozarth grew up on the family farm in Southwest Kansas began his interest in the veterinary field while watching the local Veterinarian treat the family's livestock. He obtained his Veterinary degree from Kansas State University, served in the U.S. Air Force, and then returned to K-State for his Master's Degree in 1973. He practiced in Oregon, Texas, and Kansas before joining Banfield in 2000. He and his wife have had nearly a dozen cats as well as two dogs over the years. His special interests include dermatology and internal medicine. In his free time, Dr Bozarth enjoys fishing, baseball, K-State sports, reading, as well as visiting historical sites and antiquing with his wife.

Dr Liz Dawson
Dr Liz Dawson

Dr. Dawson was born in the St. Louis Metro east area and resided there until she moved to Columbia, Missouri to attend college. Dr. Dawson attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and earned a bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2003. She graduated with her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, also from the University of Missouri-Columbia. After graduation, she was married and moved to her husband's family farm in southwest Missouri. She practiced at a small animal clinic in Neosho, Missouri for nine years before joining the Banfield team in 2016. Dr. Dawson enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband, two children, and two fur-babies-Truman and Cricket.

Dr Dustin Barber
Dr Dustin Barber

Dr. Barber grew up in Warrensburg, MO before going to K-State University to start her undergraduate degree. While at K-State she was given the opportunity to travel to New Zealand for a study abroad year. Dr. Barber fell in love with New Zealand and chose to finish her Bachelors Degree in Animal Science as well as complete her veterinary degree while there. She lived and studied in New Zealand for 7 years before returning to Missouri. She has practiced small animal and emergency medicine in the area for about 5 years. Dr. Barber enjoys seeing not only cats and dogs but pocket pets and reptiles as well. She lives in Joplin with her boyfriend, 4 dogs, and 2 cats. She enjoys reading, hiking, camping, fishing and traveling in her free time.
