Dr. Purdy graduated from UC Davis in 1993 and has been practicing in Small Animal exculsive hospitals for 15 years.
She joined Banfield The Pet Hospital 10 years ago, and began in Folsom 2 years ago. Dr. Purdy is interested in geriatric care and surgery and will see your dogs, cats, rabbits and pocket pets. Outside of the veterinary hospital, Dr. Purdy's interests include hiking, sailboat racing, coaching soccer and snow skiing. She has two children, Sean and Morgan; a Shih Tzu named Yoshi and a Golden Retriever named Maverick. Please come in to meet Dr. Purdy today.
Dr. Choi graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She was born and raised in the bay area and earned a bachelor?s degree in biological sciences from UC Irvine. She has a special interest in integrative medicine, emergency care, and small exotic mammals. After veterinary school, she moved to Sacramento with her Yorkshire terrier mix named "Hargow,? which means shrimp dumpling. Outside the hospital, Dr. Choi enjoys sewing, roller skating, and playing the piano.read more
Graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012, and received my bachelors in veterinary science in 2010 from UC Davis as well. I?ve been with Banfield in Folsom since July of 2012 and have loved serving the community. Although Hawaii will always be my home, I?ve resided in Northern California since 2008 and share a home with my family, including a bossy French Bulldog named Boss Hogg, a sweet American Staffordshire Terrier named Rosco P Coltrane, a sassy cat named Sahara, and a dog of a cat named Ninja.read more
Dr. Richards graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts & Nevis, and completed his clinical rotations at the University of Minnesota, one of the largest veterinary hospitals in the country. He received his bachelor's degree in biological sciences with an emphasis in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior at UC Davis in 2012. He has worked with Banfield Pet Hospital since 2008 at both the Folsom and Lincoln hospitals. His special interests include primary care and internal medicine (endocrinology). While he mostly works with cats and dogs, he also enjoys working with small mammals and the occasional reptile.
He has one cat named Skittles from St. Kitts and one golden-doodle named Toby. In his free time, he spends time hiking, running, traveling, drinking wine or playing video games with family and friends. His favorite TV shows and movies include: Stranger Things, Marvel movies, The Flash, Ru Paul's Drag Race, Sense8, and Star Wars.
