I graduated from Oregon State Vet School in 1999 and will soon be celebrating my 16th year as a Banfield. doctor. My life is busy with two wonderful little boys, an amazing husband and two kitties. I love to travel and look forward to taking my boys to amazing places. We also enjoy getting outside and exploring all the wonderful areas Oregon has to offer..
Dr. Douglass is originally from the Chicago suburbs and received her BS from the University of Illinois. She then continued on at U of I to receive her DVM in 2011. After graduation she practiced at a small animal clinic for 2 years in Walnut Creek, California. She enjoys hiking, camping and running. She currently lives with her husband, daughter, dog (Carly) and 2 cats (Kingsley and Bella).read more
Dr. Brittany Lauman grew up in Milwaukie, Oregon and started working for Banfield the Pet Hospital of Clackamas in 2004, while she was doing her undergraduate work at Oregon State University. After graduating with her Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science with Pre-Vet and Animal Behavior options in 2007, she worked for Banfield the Pet Hospital of Clackamas as a veterinary technician until going back to school. She is excited to have graduated from the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and to return as a veterinarian! She lives in Milwaukie with her husband, Trevor, their two dogs, a Boxer named Rogue, and a French Bulldog/Boston Terrier named Ayla, and a cat named Tiki. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, and visiting new breweries.read more
Dr. Haleigh Schrote joined the practice in fall 2017. She is originally from Maryland, and got her B.S. from Berry College in Georgia. She graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 with a focus in small animal medicine. She particularly loves surgery and preventive care, and enjoys hiking and baking in her spare time.read more
Dr. Jessica Nelson has been with Banfield since 2012. She graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She enjoys surgery and preventative care. When not at Banfield, Dr. Nelson, her fianc� and two terriers (Ruben and Oliver) enjoy all the northwest has to offer, including paddle boarding, hiking, camping, breweries, Timbers, Thorns, etc.read more
Dr. Kara Gendron graduated from Colorado State University in 2018 with a focus in small animal medicine and surgery. After graduating, she immediately headed west to the beautiful city of Portland with her two kitties, Sunny and Finn. Her goal is to keep pets happy and healthy by educating clients about appropriate preventative medicine, and catching diseases early when they are easiest to treat. She believes pets are part of the family and enjoys helping people bond with their pets by better understanding their needs and care. In her free time, Dr. Gendron enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, camping, rock climbing, and kayaking. When not exploring the wonders of nature, Dr. Gendron loves to work on one of her numerous painting or crocheting projects.
Dr. June Wiley graduated from Kansas State University in 2018. She moved with her fianc? Tabitha and their cat Hedwig so that they could experience the great outdoors of the northwest! Her hobbies include hiking, climbing, camping, and singing karaoke.
