Dr. Janea Jenkins has been a part of our Banfield team since 2009. Growing up her Father was in the Air Force, so her family moved around a bit, however, Greenville, SC is where she considers home. Dr. Jenkins attended Clemson University (Go Tigers!) where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal and Veterinary Science with a Pre-Veterinary concentration. She then attended Mississippi State University where she graduated with her Doctrine in Veterinary Medicine. She lives in Charleston with her three cats Jasmine, Mister and Gizmo and her Pomeranian named Joy Ariel. When not at work, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts and arts and crafts like card-making. She is an advocate for dental disease prevention and loves the instant results achieved from cleaning teeth.
Chris was born and raised in Lawrence, KS and attended undergraduate studies at Luther College in Decorah, IA. He joined Banfield Pet Hospital in 2013 as a Practice Manager in Lexington, SC after spending more than 7 years in the human health field. In 2016 he accepted an offer to relocate to Charleston and take over the Citadel location. He is passionate about Preventive Care and Associate Engagement. Chris and his wife Erin live in West Ashley with their 2 kids, Brayden and Ashlynn, and their puggle Jake. When not working, Chris enjoys being outdoors, boating, and camping with his family. He is happy to welcome you to the Citadel Banfield, and looks forward to seeing you and your fur baby often!
