Dr. Wood-Williams spent her next year at Purdue University in Lafayette, IN completing an internship in small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Ahlemeyer is a 2014 Graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in Northern California, but the fantastic veterinary program at Mizzou caused her to relocate to Missouri. Her husband is a music teacher and musician. She spent the last year prior to joining Banfield working for a busy 7 doctor practice and decided to make the change due to her relocation and a passion for Preventive Care. She saw a lot of what the lack of Preventive Care can do for our patients and has a strong drive to make sure that she educates about the things that she has seen that can be preventable! Her career interests lie in radiology and ultrasound.
She enjoys spending time with her husband, Pit Bull Cora, and 2 cats Edmund and Cheri, and enjoys hiking. One interesting thing that she has done is that she travelled to Mongolia!
