Dr. Kristen Knight is an Illinois native who is dedicated to providing you and your pet the highest quality preventive care. She graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She then went on to graduate from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dr. Knight is currently pursuing a degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the College of Public Health at University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Knight shares her home with her two orange tabby cats, Calvin and Hobbes. In her spare time she reads and enjoys gardening and photography. Dr. Knight is a lover of all animals, but her main focus is on dogs and cats. As an associate veterinarian, nothing is more important to her then your pet's health! Dr. Knight is very passionate about preventive care for her patients. She believes that the human-animal bond is an important connection to preserve, and she plans to keep you and your pet happy by providing the utmost medical care to your pet!
Dr. Margaret Lobitz announced to her family at the early age of four that she was going be a "pet doctor" when she grew up. That early prediction became a reality when she graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. For the past 19 years, Dr. Lobitz has split her time between general practice and emergency medicine, but she is very happy to be exclusively back in general practice. Her strong interests include toxicological emergencies, soft tissue surgeries and dentistry.
A native of the Chicagoland area, Dr. Lobitz is fortunate that her three spoiled cats allow her to live in their home and to spend her free time relaxing. She was trained many years ago to act as the advocate for the pet, and that is the principle by which she practices.
Dr. Mehanni is a graduate of Cairo University College of Veterinary Medicine. What excites him most about preventive care is that we can diagnose illnesses early and improve the quality of our pets lives. So, they can live healthier and happier. Dr Mehanni became a veterinarian because he loves animals and medicine. When not working he enjoys soccer, tennis, traveling and playing with his cat, Bagheera.
