Dr. Taylor Burge is a Georgia native. Her family encouraged her to go into veterinary medicine from a young age because her mother saw her affinity for nature and animals. She received her undergraduate degree from Berry College and graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Burge spent a year completing an internship in a busy, 24-hour Washington, DC small animal hospital. Having been with Banfield since 2010, she feels a strong connection with the people and pets that make this practice great.
Dr. Burge then moved to western North Carolina and enjoys exploring the beautiful area with her husband, Mike, their four-legged family members (Maximus, Snoopy and Fiona), and a few backyard chickens. In addition, to camping and hiking, she also enjoys spending time in her vegetable garden, checking out local restaurants, and Asheville music scene.
Dr. Stephanie Foster was born in Midland, Texas, but spent most of her youth in the greater Houston area. After attending Texas A&M University both for undergraduate as well as veterinary school, she was ready to explore a bit farther than the Texas border. Her first job out of school in 2011 was with Banfield Pet Hospital in Matthews, NC, just outside of Charlotte. In 2015, Dr. Foster was given an opportunity to move to Asheville. She has loved being in the mountains and enjoys the challenging, yet rewarding, work that Banfield continues to provide.
Dr. Foster has two guinea pigs, Nargle and Remus, who reflect her love for all things Harry Potter, and two rescue dogs, Suzee and Marla, who keep her on her toes.
Dr. Karen Reynolds obtained her veterinary degree from Texas A&M University in 2006 and her professional interests include sports medicine and rehabilitation. She has lived in the Asheville area for the last decade and joined the Banfield team in 2014.
Dr. Reynolds enjoys hiking during her free time. Four-legged family members include two dogs, a cat, a guinea pig, and a horse.
Dylan started with Banfield in 2012 as a Veterinary Assistant and has had the opportunity to work in many of the Charlotte area hospitals. Dylan relocated to western NC in the fall of 2016 to take a position as the Practice Manager of the Asheville location before eventually settling down in Arden. They attended Appalachian State University, receiving dual bachelor degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. After college, Dylan decided to go back into veterinary medicine to follow their passion for animal welfare. Dylan enjoys spending their off-Banfield time working in the family creative co-op with their wife, Ixeah, or spoiling their pets, two rescue dogs named Keller and Misha, a bearded dragon named Smaug, a betta fish named Mushu, and a Russian hamster named Navi.read more
